International Crisis Negotiation Exercise

Description: This introductory course (there are no prerequisite courses) is designed to: 1) increase your understanding of international conflicts and negotiation processes; and 2) improve your effectiveness as a team leader, team member and negotiator. Students will prepare for and participate in an immersive negotiation exercise led by the United States Army War College. All classwork and the actual exercise occur over the following dates: Saturday, April 6th (9:00am-4:00pm*), Saturday, April 13th (8:30am-7:00pm*), and Sunday, April 14th (8:30am-4:00pm*) - and one weekday - Tuesday, April 16th (12:00-1:20pm*). *Times are subject to change. As with any course, this will appear on your transcript, and students will receive 3 units and a Pass/Fail grade.
